Abstract:

Rev. Francis W. Pattison's travel book documented his visit by boat to England in the summer of 1930. He toured several towns before attending the 5th International Congregational Council in Bournemouth, England as a delegate. The book contains his observations, mentions several notable fellow-attendees and has souvenirs from his weeks abroad. Following the Council, he spends several weeks in England before traveling to Oberammergau, Germany for their Passion Play. He returned to Massachusetts August 16.
