Our virtual library is always growing. Besides the digital periodicals, books, and reference tools in our collection, we have created three particular opportunities for more in depth exploration of Congregational Christian history.
New England's Hidden Histories, a collection of rare colonial-era church records, is the Congregational Library's most important initiative, serving scholars and genealogists as well as local Congregational churches interested in preserving their past. The Library is also building a large and diverse collection of images — historic photographs of famous and not-so-famous pastors and laypeople, church buildings and towns, and much more — all searchable in our online catalog. We also invite you to take a visual trip through the past in our digital exhibits.
